Wine Hospitality Fluency #103

WISE #103 is a cost-effective way to take both WISE #101 Wine Fluency and WISE #102 Wine Hospitality . This course is designed to bring hospitality professionals into the wine industry in a holistic way. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the nuances specific to wine hospitality to get them up to speed quickly selling wine and wine clubs as well as learning how to translate superb customer service into natural, effective sales.
The concepts learned in WISE #103 include training in:
- Wine Industry Concepts and Terminology -– learning about wine vocabulary and how wine is made
- Wine Country Terroir (Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, etc.)
- Direct-to-Consumer Standards – selling wine and wine club memberships, and capturing contact data
- Wine Tastings and Service Standards – how to present, pour, and describe wine

Successful completion of this course includes a passing grade of 75% or higher on the course test.
